"Healthy Kidz" Storybook

The Kidz Kidding resources have been created to motivate children to learn skills, behaviours and attitudes while having fun and doing what comes naturally….singing, moving and playing!

The acquisition of literacy skills is a crucial factor in determining lifelong success. Music, rhythm, sounds and movement are vehicles which allow children to experience phonemic awareness, rhyming words and animated language to help make them more effective communicators. The lyrics of our songs can be used as read aloud for poetry (rhyming words and vocabulary).

The addition of “The Healthy Kidz Storybook” ( release date / September ’08) is intended to provide material for such programs as Shared Reading and  Reader's Theatre (as dramatization, to develop reading fluency, increase skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking) and can be used to animate concepts taught in other subject areas.
